The development of cadastral surveying in Singapore
Song, Low Oon
The main function of a cadastral survey is to provide the means of describing any parcel of land unambiguously so that its limits may be precisely located on the ground at any time. It is evident that in order to describe all land parcels with precision, a proper cadastral survey is essential. Such a survey system has been in place in Singapore. It has contributed to the orderly land administration and rapid physical developments.
