Le cadastre francais et le plan nummrique national

Breton, Jacques

With abstracts in English, German and French.

In France, in January 1990, the Minister for the budget, in charge of the Land Register, decided to undertake the transformation of Land Registry which until then had bene in a graphic form, into a digitised document. To complete the definition and the realisation of a modern land register which would go beyond its tax-related function to become a legal and economic tool of great national interest, it is necessary for the land register and the co-ordinates of the plot limit to become property limits. The Ordre des GGommtres-Experts in France treat half of the Geographical Information turnover. It constructed a project called P.N.N. (Plan Nummrique National).
