A certificate of location is a document including a report and a plan, in which the land surveyor expresses his opinion on the situation as well as the current condition of a land with reference to the titles to property, the cadastral survey and the rules and regulations as defined in the standard of practice for the certificate of location, in the province of Quubec, Canada (Land Surveyors Act, R.S.Q., c. A-23, s. 49, regulation number 10).
